Billy - To answer your question we need a little more information first. Was the Augustine Grass already in your yard when you planted the Zoysia or has the Augustine since appeared in your Zoysia lawn? Also, is your Zoysia lawn full established, or is it still growing and filling in?

1. Yes, Zoysia will choke out the Bermuda, as long as you don't pamper the growth of the Bermuda.

2. Ideally, your soil's pH should be between 6 and 7. We have a blog post that will help shed more light on managing your pH, which you can find here: http://blog.zoysiafarms.com/managing-your-ph/

3. Zoysia is a spreading grass, so it would overtake the St. Augustine. To be safe, your best bet would be to install borders (lawn edging) to keep the two separate. Read more about our spreading solutions here: http://blog.zoysiafarms.com/zoysia-solution-for-spreading/

4. Meyer zoysia refers to Meyer Z-52 that was released by the USDA and the US Golf Association for commercial development in 1951. Amazoy is just another name for the same product.

We do ship to Utah, meaning that we believe it can grow in the climate there. However, the deciding factor should be if your yard receives enough sunlight throughout the day. While zoysia can thrive without loads and loads of sunlight, it does need some exposure to grow. You should also note the best time of year for you to plant, which in your case would be between the months of April and August. Best of luck!

I live in central Florida, Lady lake.

1. Will your zoysia choke out Bermuda grass ?
2. What is the right PH for zoysia?
3. Neighbor has St. Augustine grass. If I plant zoysia, which will win the encroachment battle at the lot line??
4. What is the difference between Meyer zoysia, and Amazoy Zoysia. Both names are mentioned in your ad.
